You know, I thought the trip to Violet would take much longer. Either way, I guess I've made it just in time?

[Sup, this young lady is wearing a dirty old fedora and a mustache, the latter just visible over the top of her scarf. Her face may look familiar, though her hair a touch curlier than her Poppops, but HI VIOLET CITY, she's the spitting image of John Egbert. Looking past the screen a few moments, Jane frowns just a touch and leans.]

Sebby, no, you are staying right here with me. The other people and Pokemon aren't trying to do anything, they're just walking by!

[Something sounds a little displeased, but when Jane rights up to continue talking, there's a Buneary perched on her shoulder, wearing a pair of pointed sunglasses.]

Anyhow, could someone recommend a few techniques for an overprotective Pokemon? I appreciate his concern, but he gets a little out of hand when he wallops strangers who simply walk little close.

Yes! I do recall being myself, too. I mean biologically! But aside from a few other scattered conversations, I can't say I remember a lot.

It definitely was, although I don't really mind being human. It's strange but not bad!

Well, I'm glad to hear that much then. I think I'll have to start writing things down, now that I've got such a handful of things to think about.

I've got a binder, myself - well, we started out with notebooks, but I sort of...added. [ Breeders have some perks, okay. Notebooks are awesome! ]

I remember things. Met Dirk. If he comes back, probably won't remember anything and I won't tell him I know his name. Some guy said this has happened many times before. [As much as he'd love to let it lie, he can't. He's too paranoid.] I'm going to dig around. See what I can find. If anything turns up, I'll voice it.

How have you been adjusting to the new setting, Jane?

I didn't get to talk to him too long. But, yeah. He's a lot like Bro just, [Less playful and older brotherly. Bro had raised him, and knew the right tone to make him obey a command. Dirk seemed more like a scholar studying history.] Uh, mote focused. Bro's intense and really doesn't know when to stop, but he seems more raw.

If that makes any sense.

Quite well, if I can say! It's nice to at least be outdoors without the fear of being assassinated, but I do hope my Dad is doing alright at home.

It does, I get what you mean. Dirk doesn't have much for distractions outside of building robots, though I'm certain that he has long conversations with his glasses. I mean, he built them with an artificial intelligence copy of his brain when he was thirteen, so the glasses still speak that way.

My point is that he is most definitely the most focused in our circle of friends.

Wait, what. Hold up and roll back a second. He built an ai version of himself?

He did indeed! It sounds crazy, but I've spoken with the AI myself and it answers things very close in agreement to what Dirk would say; it certainly isn't an Auto Responder for nothing. He offered to make one for me but I have enough trouble without a second me to discuss things with.

Not nearly as many as Roxy, but I've played my fair share!

It honestly depends on how well you know yourself or can handle that. Having a second you around usually isn't as bad as it seems. They're you, and you're them. It doesn't matter what shape or form they take, in the end no one knows you better than yourself.

I... I suppose. I'm just not sure I can handle it as well as he does - or as well as you would.

Haha, I can definitely understand that! I'm sure your dad is fine, Jane. From what you've told me about him, he sounds like a sturdy man and a force to be reckoned with!

Hey, you never know what you can handle until it's right there in front of you. You'd be surprised how much of this shit just starts coming naturally to you. These sessions and adventures seem all about self-discovery in really cryptic ways. Some of it is downright retarded but there are good parts.

Like right now we're chilling and being Pokiemasters. Or some shit like that. All the battles and crap we'll face back home is pretty far away.
