You know, I thought the trip to Violet would take much longer. Either way, I guess I've made it just in time?

[Sup, this young lady is wearing a dirty old fedora and a mustache, the latter just visible over the top of her scarf. Her face may look familiar, though her hair a touch curlier than her Poppops, but HI VIOLET CITY, she's the spitting image of John Egbert. Looking past the screen a few moments, Jane frowns just a touch and leans.]

Sebby, no, you are staying right here with me. The other people and Pokemon aren't trying to do anything, they're just walking by!

[Something sounds a little displeased, but when Jane rights up to continue talking, there's a Buneary perched on her shoulder, wearing a pair of pointed sunglasses.]

Anyhow, could someone recommend a few techniques for an overprotective Pokemon? I appreciate his concern, but he gets a little out of hand when he wallops strangers who simply walk little close.

[It's the clipclopping of hooves that has her turning, then brightening at the little deer. Sebby remains where he is; at least Pokemon seem to be okay on his list. Going to pet that Deerling with a smile, crouching a touch.]

[Gamzee opens his mouth to speak again but holy shit wait he knows that pretty little thing. He looks around for a moment before pushing himself up and wandering out of the ally he'd been chilling in.]

[Looking up, Jane offers a smile before her other hand is dropping the gear to catch Sebby on her shoulder; he was about ready to leap.] Hoo hoo, it seems we were closer than we thought. These creatures seem very in tune with the surroundings, at least!

[Gamzee just grins at the little bunny, probably not very comforting considering but whatever. Deerling is still more than happy to trot around her legs and try and jump up to get the bunny's attention, meanwhile there's a Duosion that floats over to sit on Gamzee's head.

A very tired Duosion that would rather be anywhere but moving, but someone needs to babysit Gamzee when Karkat's not around.]

[Solsis the Duosion floats down into her hands as Gamzee leans down a little to let her off, meanwhile Miracle is bouncing around Sebby excited to have a new friend.]

So cute.. [Almost a shame she doesn't know just what the Lopunny is saying, but Jane is figuring that the rabbits are having a chat. To that, she'll pass the gear up with a light giggle.]

It's a bit hard to not think about it; I just can't accept it until I've figured it out. A break in really working my mind over isn't so bad though. [She can't help a little chuckle about more Pokemon being out and about. Gently catching Solsis and offering a pleased smile, Jane is careful about petting. What do with Psychic types wrapped in... what would that be called, solid ectoplasm?]

Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Jane Crocker, may I ask for yours?

It's good to meet you, all of you. [Smiling a bit down at the Deerling, she uses her free hand to lightly pat Miracle on the head.] Mr. Stoic here is named Sebby. I haven't quite figured out the trick to catching others yet, so he's my only teammate so far.

[Though part of her is questioning if all Pokemon come from eggs, she isn't going to look a gift-horse in the mouth. It sounds like it's own mystery altogether though, so this is one that will help with seeing to believe!]
