I'm having a bit of trouble contacting Roxy. I was sure she was not that far behind me when we were getting to town, and her Pokemon came in with us.

[Concerned. Very much concerned. She's even in the process of backtracking to see if she just got distracted or fell asleep or anything.]

Her eggs both hatched as well, so I know she will want to see them! Maybe her phone is broke, with the response I keep getting..

Yes, of course you can help! She likes to type with pink text, and is very fond of cats.. [It's hard. While she appreciates Maria's willingness to help, so far... nothing has turned up.]

[She might. Jane is still trying to be optimistic, but with no sight of Roxy, no hint that she's even still... here, she can't help keeping her back to Aradia and wipe her face quietly.

Worried about her bffsty so much.]

[Slowly, she's figuring it out. The pieces are rather plainly in sight and she's trying to push right through it and... Johto doesn't have any of that. Quietly, she nods, before she speaks up after realizing her nod isn't visible.]

[It's nearly an hour later that there is a very quiet knock on John's door.]

Maria doesn't have any cats, but.. uu-, maybe Maria should try to imitate one!

[ She takes a deep breath before she starts making cat sounds.. except it's a kid pretending, so it doesn't really sound all that convincing. ] Meow, meooow..!!

[By then, he's given up looking for the tea and is instead working on mixing up some cocoa. He figures Jane can't be much longer and if nothing else, he can have it ready to pop in the microwave. Because of this, however, he unfortunately misses the knock. Luckily, Casey's hearing is superb, so she hops up from her place on the couch and skitters over to the door, pulling it open. No, she has no concept of how dangerous this might be but luckily it's just Jane. John really should teach her some more discretion though.]

[There's only one downside to this for Jane though. Unfortunately, she has to deal with the standard Casey greeting of an excited hug. Complete with squeaking, which successfully gets John's attention and draws him out of the kitchen.]

Something wrong Cas-- Oh! You're here! Hold on, I will be out in a minute, just make yourself comfortable. [He disappears back into the kitchen and a moment later there's the sound of a microwave beeping and starting up.]

[ Aradia will hesitantly put a hand on Jane's shoulder, although she won't make her turn around. ]

...I think she's gone home.

I suppose we should.. go back to town and get some rest.

I... [She's quiet a little longer, but eventually gives a quiet sound.]

[It's enough to make Jane smile, watery eyed and all.]

She should definitely come running, hearing a kitty calling for her.

[The hug is honestly the best reaction Jane has had all day, and on being hugged like that, Jane just hugs back and buries her face in the soft fur.]

I'm sure we will see her again soon, in.. any case. [With how many people from their universe are here, it almost is inevitable, but on the other hand..]

[Shhh, it's okay gramma. Casey will hug all the sads away. She is a pro at this by now. Though after a few minutes, she will try to subtly lead her over to the couch.]

[She can't answer anymore other than simply nodding, and moves with the shoulder squeeze. Crouching, Grape Jelly has transformed back to his natural form, so Jane scoops the sad Pokemon up.]

[Jane lets her, moving easily and having a seat. Removing her glasses and setting them in her lap, she rubs her eyes a bit; the last thing she wants to do is go and ruin that extra soft fur with snot and tears.]
