[text/action] forward dating to super early thurs morning + mid afternoon [video]

Dear Poppop,
After what happened the other night, I feel I need a little self reflection time.
If you could please keep an eye on Jake, Dirk and Aradia,
I would be incredibly grateful.
- Jane

To Dirk,
Please don't worry about me, Mr. Strider!
I felt like taking a short trip on my own,
and on a spur of the moment feeling, decided to leave early.
I will keep in touch!
- Jane

To Aradia,
I do hope it won't be much trouble to ask that you to keep Jake and Dirk out of trouble.
Jake with his sense of direction,
and Dirk with his sassy, cool attitude.
I will keep in touch,
so please don't worry!
- Jane

Jake,
I sincerely apologize for the way I behaved at the party,
it was absolutely terrible of me to let myself get so drunk.
I thought about my actions, and decided to take a small trip.
I will keep in touch, so don't worry about me.
- Jane

(action)
[Now that she was packed up and those notes were promptly placed on their respective doors, Jane made quick work of slipping on her boots and jacket. Very quietly, she slipped out the door and shut it even quieter, and led her small group of Pokemon towards the south end of town. On reaching the very edge, Jane moved and saddled up on her Deerling, two Growlithe moving in to flank her, and both strapped with two eggs each; Jane carried the last that had been on James' back.

Over the river and through the woods,
to nowhere in particular she goes..
]
--------------------------------------------------------------

(video)
[It's much later in the day when the video feed gets bumped on, where Calli the Chikorita is wiggling the gear with her vines, holding it out of reach of a whining Shinx. In the background, there's sounds of ... a battle? Lou and James are in the middle of a tag team battle, taking on some wild Pokemon with Jane and judging from the sounds that continue, are doing quite well; Calli and Geoff continue playing tag with the gear for another good ten minutes, before there is some displeased barking.

Both little ones drop the gear and scurry away, where a Growlithe shows up on the feed and yaps at the screen some more. It's not much longer before Jane finally appears, looking.. well, all sorts of weary and tired. Giving the dog Pokemon a dubious look, she reaches down to get the gear.
]

Comet, shush! No one is there!

[Rubbing one eye and looking at the screen again, Jane almost jumps out of her skin on seeing that red recording light. Smacking her hand over the camera, she fumbles a few minutes before it turns off.]

maybe he thought you didn't actually mean it because you were drunk?
or maybe he was drunk too and didn't fully understand what was going on?
i was kind of dealing with some stuff myself at the party so i really have no idea who all was and wasn't drunk and at what point.
but yeah. under normal circumstances, that would be a dead giveaway.

ah.
well just talk to him about it, ok?
this isn't the sort of misunderstanding you want to leave to fester.
and since the cat's more or less out of the bag anyway, maybe you should just bite the bullet and tell him how you really feel?
it's far from the ideal moment, i know, but all things considered it's probably for the best. you know?

maybe a little bit. but people tend to do less than intelligent things when they're drunk.

how do you know the answer won't be a good one though?
you never know until you ask!
ghostytrainer: (could you repeat that?)

uhh...i'm not sure i follow.
wait does he...ok you said they were making out or whatever, right?
i just assumed that was bro being weird and they were just caught under the mistletoe like dave and i were.
but are you saying that dirk likes jake too?
ghostytrainer: (wait. don't go.)

oh.
well

ok.
look at it this way then. unless jake is into polygamy, somebody is going to end up left out.
that's just kind of the sad truth of love triangles, which i can only assumes is what's happened here.
but if you don't say anything, that somebody is DEFINITELY going to be you. and where will that leave you?
do you really think you will be any happier if you don't say anything?
ultimately, it's up to jake to make the decision as to who he wants to date. don't you at least want to have a chance? :(
ghostytrainer: (sounds like a plan!)

well i would hope you weren't planning on staying in azalea by yourself forever! :P
just take a little time to get your thoughts in order and figure out how you want to approach it.
just don't put it off too long, alright?
misunderstandings only get worse if you don't clear them up quickly. plus the more time you give yourself, the more likely you are to talk yourself out of it.

i know it's hard, but you can do it!
ghostytrainer: (that was a pretty funny joke!)

hahaha. there's not a whole lot to do or see in azalea. kinda small.
nice homey feel to it, i guess but.
i wouldn't be surprised if you're back sooner than you think.

:)
