[Sitting in a chair with the gear being held by both a pair of orange paws and peeking vines, Jane clears her throat and sits up a bit straighter on realizing the red light was on. For just a moment, she's making a "Guys, you should have told me!!" sort of expression, before Jane begins with a second clearing of her throat.]

Hello, my name is Jane Crocker! Everyone, I'd like your attention for just a few minutes, please!

[Bringing up a piece of poster board with writing on it, Jane holds it steady while continuing to speak.] I'd like to ask if any of you would be available for taking a survey for me. The answers sent to this device will be private, as well as all the information given. If I do need to use it in a public setting, such as with a reveal of what the data indicates, all names will remain anonymous. It will only take a few minutes of your time, and overall, it will help myself and others begin to look for a pattern in the way people arrive or depart from this world.

If you would like to participate, here is a text portion of what I have written here, since I'm certain the video footage won't be nearly as easy to read. [There's a small 'hoohoo!' there, Jane giving the camera a smile.]

Take your time with your answers, and if you would like to help, please direct your friends to filling out the form! There will likely be a few more posts like this as I try to work on several of the unknowns in this world, so I really must thank you all for even taking the time to listen to all of this.

[With that said, Jane is moving the poster down out of sight to move and get her gear from her Pokemon; the feed shuts off, but soon enough, there's an attachment with the form for filling out.]

[...for Kayneth, the font is a different story holy hell let him decipher that um]

Well, I suppose if anything groundbreaking happens between now and the next time it makes the rounds I'll provide an updated survey. I'm not sure if there have been any patterns in the data yet given that I have no access to the answers, but there are probably some important correlations among the answers.

I had suspected as much. In an ideal world, everyone would understand how important this sort of thing is--but, of course, not much about this world could be considered ideal.

You're very welcome. Until then, I hope this particular venture is successful.

Ah, I believe I heard about this place being compared to a game at several points. Fiduspawn, was it...?

...and really, the music is the worst part of this whole place. I've never quite managed to completely tune it out.

Ah, so Miss Megido is a troll? I wasn't quite sure, given that her typing isn't as... creative as the others I've met thus far.

Is that so? I thought it was strange when the person who described Fiduspawn to me pointed out how similar it was, but the fact that you had a game that was almost entirely the same right down to the name and some of the Pokemon... that's certainly uncanny. Then again, this isn't the first time I've encountered something that was unarguably fictional in my world but was actually real here. The differences are a bit strange, but... well, I can't claim to be an expert on video games, so I can't say what would be the cause of that.

Well, whatever works. At least it's entirely possible to drown it out with various music playing devices, though I haven't been able to find anything I'm terribly fond of.

Yes, quite.

An animated mouse that was one of the secondary mascots of an over-commercialized entertainment company. I believe she isn't here anymore, so I can't offer proof, but... well. It was certainly jarring, and I have to admit that I felt the whole thing felt completely idiotic, but it happened.

Classical, mostly.

...no, it was Minnie Mouse, actually. Which is no less ridiculous, but in the interest of accuracy...

[IT WAS SO STUPID. SO. STUPID.

AND HIS REACTION TO LEARNING THIS MOST CERTAINLY WASN'T HILARIOUS]

If it were available on the radio I probably wouldn't mind the constant music as much--some pieces are fairly relaxing instead of grating like these ones can be. With that said, that does seem like a possible solution.

Yes, of course. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other cases of this happening, but there haven't been many that I've recognized.

Well, I hope you find one, for both our sakes. Perhaps I'd be more likely to find one in Kanto...

Given that there are infinite parallel worlds, I suppose it's only natural that some of them perfectly mirror worlds that appear in works of fiction... but that was a bit difficult to stomach even taking that in mind.

Given that Saffron has a concert hall, I suspect we may have more luck there--but who knows, really.

That would be really awkward to experience, however... for now, I'm just going to assume these "adaptations" aren't totally accurate, for my own peace of mind.

It's worth a go. If nothing else, they may sell recordings of past performances.

I would certainly appreciate that, Miss Crocker. Forgive me, but I don't believe I've introduced myself--I am Lord Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi.

There's no real problem; this sort of thing seems to encourage borderline anonymity.

Well, there's a first time for everything, isn't there? In any case, so long as you use my title, I don't really have a preference as to how I'm addressed.
