So um, I have a request today! Pokemon eggs. Is anyone interested in taking any off our hands? I uh.. My Pokemon and Dave's Pokemon decided to leave us a bunch this morning, and we didn't find them until we came back from training, and.. well, we aren't going to raise nineteen Pokemon, that would be insane!

[Moving the feed from herself to point at her bed, the eggs are all neatly arranged with cards beneath the respective bunch or single.] If you have trouble reading the writing, I can let you know which Pokemon is which. I can definitely say from what.. little I've researched about breeding, that the Growlithe and Solosis eggs should be really powerful once they hatch! Both had parents of the same species together and all.

We do want them to go to nice homes overall, so I'm not too interested in charging any money; just take care of them and we'll call it good, alright?

Mhm! I originally came to Azalea to get some training in, and then he came down here to get his badge, so we've just been hanging out together.

It must be nice, being in good company like that. He seems it like he would be, anyway.

[ She hasn't talked to him near enough to know, but going off what little she's seen of him? That, and there's the thought that she's lucky to be traveling with Bro and Mom. She can only imagine how lonely it would be without them and... well, she'd really rather not. Maybe they're both lucky to have such good company. ]

Hoohoo, he is incredibly good company! Hilariously ironic like any Strider would be, and he's very good at rapping, battling, and eating everything I make. [Laughing gently about that.]

It sounds to me like you're pretty fond of him!

I see. [ Friend. Right. She's doing what any proper mother would, of course. Teasing with a side of potential assumption and smiling a knowing smile. ]

You said "I see" when I said Dave was a great friend. [No. They remind her of Roxy in her mischievous moods.]

[ Best association. If that had been spoken aloud and Val had any real clue who Roxy was, she would take it as a compliment. ]

I do. Well, I have. He's a great friend, alright. Willing to put himself in harm's way to protect you. Is there anything wrong with acknowledging that? [ And she poses the question so innocently. ]

I.. suppose not. [SHE'S LOOKING AT YOU SO UNSURELY] We had just been getting more than enough teases since we started hanging out.

I can't imagine why.

[ Except she can. Or, well, she'd like to. She really doesn't know Dave well enough and really, she's still getting to know Jane, but... well, that's why it's called 'imagining,' now isn't it? ]

[Just going to rub her face more and sigh awkwardly.] N.. nevermind. Forget I asked. Uhh.. hey, did you get a good look at the eggs? See anything you want? [NOPE THIS IS THE TOPIC CHANGE]

[ A subject change? Valeria supposes she could let it go for now. There will be more than enough opportunities to tease Jane in the future, after all. As for the eggs, she pauses. ]

Mmm... not this time around, I think. Although it is rather tempting...
