[The feed starts off on the floor, but two brown furry paws are eventually dragging it along and it's soon easy to see that the Gear is in a kitchen. There's baking ingredients on the counter and a bowl and spatulas and.. and it doesn't look like the project is finished, but there isn't anyone bustling around to get said project completed.]
Sebby, no, I don't really want to talk to anyone right now.
[Jane sounds tired, if anything. The Buneary being spoken to chitters something quietly, dragging the gear from its straight up view and pushing it slightly against his trainers arm; she's a bit slouched in her seat right now, arms on the table and face half buried in it, and the pushing prompts one hand to lift and push the gear away.]
I mean it, stop.
[Sebby won't be deterred it seems, because he's climbing around her shoulders and trying to wedge the gear in next to her face. All it does is prompt an irritated frown out of her and while she takes it, Sebby gets a moment of thinking his plan worked until she sits up and chucks the gear across the room.
Surprisingly enough, it doesn't turn off, but the feed is facing the floor now and the only sounds are a Buneary chittering away and Jane making annoyed grunts from a re-flopped place at the table.]
I don't really give a damn right now, just get it out of my face. I don't want to answer questions or pretend I don't feel like utter shit, so just.. leave me alone. [It's said with enough finality that the Pokemon stays quiet, but there are little paws padding closer to the microphone. Flipping the gear over and holding it upside down a moment, Sebby regards the feed without his little sunglasses for once before turning it off.]

Hey, Janey. I thought ice cream might help lift your mood a little.

[Mom will also personally ground whoever does eat Jane's ice cream without her permission.]
How are you doing?

[Plus, the fact that Jane didn't open the door kind of ruins it. Though Casey, at least, is excited to see the Buneary. Hello cutie pie!]
Oh, hey Sebby. Jane still in the kitchen then?

Poppop? [Jane speaks quietly, not lifting her head.]

[She waits in the doorway while John crosses the room to rest a hand on Jane's shoulder.]

Jane. I...
Shit. Sorry.
[audio- private]
Dirk, don't. It's nothing to apologize for.
[audio- private]
It's nothing to be proud of, either.
[Except he is proud that he's dating Jake... But he's not proud of driving her away, no matter how much they worked it out beforehand.]
[audio- private]
[She almost wants to include a question of "right?", but the word doesn't come out. Jane wants to be positive for them, even if she hadn't heard from either of them the rest of the month until now.]

[She can't do video, Jane just can't. She looks like as much crap as she feels like, so when she calls back, she switches it to audio. Jane can at least fake sounding fine, right?]

Do you want to talk about it? I can just listen, if you like.

I'm just frustrated, I guess. I don't even really.. feel like baking anymore.
