For just a moment, she's making a "Guys, you should have told me!!" sort of expression, before Jane begins with a second clearing of her throat.]

Hello, my name is Jane Crocker! Everyone, I'd like your attention for just a few minutes, please!

[Bringing up a piece of poster board with writing on it, Jane holds it steady while continuing to speak.] I'd like to ask if any of you would be available for taking a survey for me. The answers sent to this device will be private, as well as all the information given. If I do need to use it in a public setting, such as with a reveal of what the data indicates, all names will remain anonymous. It will only take a few minutes of your time, and overall, it will help myself and others begin to look for a pattern in the way people arrive or depart from this world.

If you would like to participate, here is a text portion of what I have written here, since I'm certain the video footage won't be nearly as easy to read. [There's a small 'hoohoo!' there, Jane giving the camera a smile.]

There will likely be a few more posts like this as I try to work on several of the unknowns in this world, so I really must thank you all for even taking the time to listen to all of this.

Ah, it's this survey again? Well, I don't see a reason to fill it out a second time given that not much has changed on my part aside from a few people from my world who weren't particularly close acquaintances of mine leaving, but I would hope that plenty of new people will respond.

Well, I suppose if anything groundbreaking happens between now and the next time it makes the rounds I'll provide an updated survey. I'm not sure if there have been any patterns in the data yet given that I have no access to the answers, but there are probably some important correlations among the answers.

I think the main reason we're bringing it up again right now
is that we need more participants.
I haven't had a look at the data yet myself so far,
but I'm sure there will be something!

Why does it ask you for your "sex", and then ask for your "gender", too?

Well, I assume it had to do with ones identity vs what physical gender one is.

Doctor Reid had this survey going previously, and I'm only passing it about again to collect new information. The more we gather, the more accurate of an idea we can get on finding patterns in arrivals and departures. [Smiling ear to ear though, she can't help the small giggle.]
