So um, I have a request today! Pokemon eggs. Is anyone interested in taking any off our hands? I uh.. My Pokemon and Dave's Pokemon decided to leave us a bunch this morning, and we didn't find them until we came back from training, and.. well, we aren't going to raise nineteen Pokemon, that would be insane!

[Moving the feed from herself to point at her bed, the eggs are all neatly arranged with cards beneath the respective bunch or single.] If you have trouble reading the writing, I can let you know which Pokemon is which. I can definitely say from what.. little I've researched about breeding, that the Growlithe and Solosis eggs should be really powerful once they hatch! Both had parents of the same species together and all.

We do want them to go to nice homes overall, so I'm not too interested in charging any money; just take care of them and we'll call it good, alright?

As soon as he saw how many there were. Actually, I think half of it was because his Emolga was a girl.

Apparently he has technology problems. Which makes sense when you consider that he used to insist on carrying five computers around with him all the time.

He has tech problems. Really. [He's trying not to laugh. There's a pause as he stifles the urge with amazing results.]

And now he carries around all the eggs. It's like he has a squrriel's instinct to hoard. [That is what you're eyeing for romance. A Squirrel.]

I wouldn't be surprised. He's not very selective, ask him sometime about his taste in movies. [He has non-squirrelish qualities, really. Some of them are endearing.]

I'm almost afraid to ask and I know John and his shitty taste in movies. Seeing as I'm curious now, give me an example.

Well, it starts with an unironic love of Weekend at Bernie's, and then gets worse from there. He has literally never seen an example of cinema he hasn't liked.

...I never thought I'd see the day when someone actually liked Weekend at Bernie's.

[We interrupt your scheduled "Talk About Derp!" for this important broadcast. There is a derp Jake heading straight for Dirk and tackling him to get at that Pokegear.

Yes, guess who saw all that when he was checking up on this post? It's what you Striders get for not filtering it from him.]

Dirk! None of that needed discussion!!! In fact, I thought we agreed to never talk about that blunder ever again!

[dksljad

Yeah, there's no way he's avoiding that. He's not going to let go of the Pokegear, so Dave's view will be a bit shaky for a while. And will probably include some awkward wrestling.

If Jake tickles him while he's talking to Dave, Dirk will probably kill him.]

What, you finally properly embarrassed about your tragic taste in cinema? I don't remember swearing not to mention that.
hoperaider: (Just go die already you sick fuck)

[Jake gives him a look.

And then he proceeds to tickle Dirk. It's all he can do that doesn't involve going back to the dreaded "Jake Fainted Because of Those Eggs" incident.]

Don't you dare-

[Oh god. Any actions other than Get the Hell Away have been suspended, because Dirk is too busy laughing and trying to ward off Jake's hand's. Dave's view is going to be even more chaotic for a while.]

Fuck! Stop cheating! Jake-
moveslikestrider: (How we can behave?)

[personal profile] moveslikestrider 2013-02-06 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[Dave is just sitting back and drinking his apple juice.] Yeah Jake, we're having a convo here.
hoperaider: (Ridiculous pout)

[personal profile] hoperaider 2013-02-07 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
[Jake stops after a few seconds and moves away, huffing and crossing his arms.]

You know it wasn't my taste in cinema I was talking about! And my taste is impeccable, thank you very much.

Also, Dave, I respect and admire you a great deal, but now I'm adding myself to your conversation for a little bit.

[Also, Dirk, he has no problem telling Dave how to effectively tickle you.]

Your taste is indiscriminate. Come on, tell me the best movie you've ever seen.

[Dirk moves out of arm's reach of Jake and takes a moment to fix his clothes, because they kind of got messed up while Jake was tickle torturing him. Time to repair his dignity by pretending this never happened! At least this time his hair hasn't been messed up.]
