So um, I have a request today! Pokemon eggs. Is anyone interested in taking any off our hands? I uh.. My Pokemon and Dave's Pokemon decided to leave us a bunch this morning, and we didn't find them until we came back from training, and.. well, we aren't going to raise nineteen Pokemon, that would be insane!

[Moving the feed from herself to point at her bed, the eggs are all neatly arranged with cards beneath the respective bunch or single.] If you have trouble reading the writing, I can let you know which Pokemon is which. I can definitely say from what.. little I've researched about breeding, that the Growlithe and Solosis eggs should be really powerful once they hatch! Both had parents of the same species together and all.

We do want them to go to nice homes overall, so I'm not too interested in charging any money; just take care of them and we'll call it good, alright?

Exactly and that gets boring. You could teach me your ways, right? I'll do what needs to be done just leave out any freaky worshiping the bowl rituals and shit. [Dave passes her the eggs as she requests them, gently handling them like as if they're his kids.]

There are no bowl worshiping rituals to worry about! I'd be happy to teach you, Dave.

[In a moment between egg transferring, she's giving him such a smile and then back to the screen while wondering to herself why she can't stop smiling. Goodness.]

[He gives her a nod and a thumbs up. Before he gets up and stretches.]

Ok. Do I need to prepare myself in some way?

Mostly just need to wash your hands and try not to pet any Pokemon the entire time we're cooking.

[Getting the last of the eggs out, she's standing now that it's done. Picking up a piece of scrap paper, Jane starts making a small list, somewhat mentally checking what ingredients they have.]

Let's see.. we could start with something easy for lunch, like homemade, baked macaroni and cheese. Or we could go layers and do lasagna?

The second one. We can save what we don't eat and have it later. [Hell yes.]

Good thought! Lasagna it is. I think we have everything for it, so let me see if I have a spare apron. It wouldn't do any good to get your clothes dirty.

[Since they're done here, she's moving and taking a stop back in her room to dig through the spare things she's picked up over her time in Johto; and hm her two aprons are both kind of girly looking. When she comes back, she's offering him the lesser of the girly aprons; it's blue and while it has some frills, its either that or the pink one with red ribbons.]

Here, I think it's a given which one you'll want.

[But Dave is a man of irony. He snags the pink one and starts putting it on.] Nah, Pink is nearly red. It's perfect. Blue doesn't look right on me.

[She just looks at him, looks at the apron, and then looks at him again muffling some good giggles while putting on the blue one then.] ... You're lucky I'm not the type of person to take a picture right now.

You say that like I'd be ashamed of myself. [He snorts with good humor and walks towards the kitchen with that casual cool still in place. Take notes Jane, this is how to be cool.]

Hoo hoo, I just have a feeling if the picture somehow got out, your brother would tease you mercilessly.

[He's being pretty damn adorable rather than cool, but nope, Jane, reel that thought on back and stuff it down. Following and moving about the kitchen to gather all the dishes they'll need, next up is getting the oven on and the meat cooking. But first, she's going to the sink to wash her hands and give them a good scrub from elbows down.]

Are you kidding? He'll give me a nod and go 'little bro, you're perfect'. [He follows her over to the sink. Dave makes sure to wash his hands in the same manner she is dries off his hands. He's ready to get a move on.]

Is that so? When we're done, I want a picture then.

[She'd take one now, but somehow it will be better after he's got lasagna sauce all over his hands and that silly apron and -- thoughts what are you doing. Taking out a skillet, she gets the oven started so it can heat up while they do the rest.]

There should be just enough meat in the freezer, if you can get that, please.

I knew you couldn't resist this. [He wraggles his eyebrows and he's clearly just playing around. Dave crosses the room to the freezer and pulls out the meat, careful not to freeze his hands off.] Where do you want this?

[Oh my god Dave did you just wraggle your eyebrows? Seriously? Jane winds up laughing and gestures at the sink.] Oh you! Dave, you say that like you weren't dying to put it on in the first place!

You caught me. I do so love to parade around in lady aprons and look like a hot slice of awesome. [He gives her an amused grin before setting the meat in the sink.]

Should I get some hairclips for you or something to go with them? I bet I have one shaped like a strawberry, it would look adorable. [Still highly amused forever wow Dave. She can't stop this smile. Now that the meat is getting to start thawing, she fishes out a pot and goes searching for noodles.]

Alright, here. Fill this three quarters of the way with water and set it on the stove with high heat. I want you to add a pinch of salt and when I get the oil out, add a tablespoon in. It'll help the noodles not stick to the pot when we strain them, and the salt will help the water boil quicker.

[He shakes his head and gets to work. First thing is first, Dave washes his hands again because handling meat then handling a pot seems wrong. He takes it and does as Jane asks. It takes him a second to figure out how to crank the heat.

The salt business is easy. He has to rummage around in a drawer to get the tablespoon.] Ready for the oil.

[The oil is planted on the counter, and then Jane is bringing the noodles up and working on opening the plastic packaging without tearing it wide open or breaking the long lasagna noodles.]

[He adds the right amount of oil into the water and holds a hand out for the package. Trust him with this, Jane.]

[She hands the package over easily enough.]

[He opens the package without any thought to it. His jerk is practiced.]

[She'd be jealous if she weren't impressed that it only took one yank. It deserves a little applause.]

These things have a seal point, that's where it's weakest. [He caught the look and shows her exactly where he yanked with both hands on the front and upper back.]

Aha! I see! Usually I just take scissors to them. [Taking the package and giving the plastic another half tug just to put the location of her hands in mind, she moves to pull the noodles out carefully and set them on the counter.]

You'll just have to be on hand so I can pass the plastic to you when I can't find the right seal point.

[He looks to her with a roguish grin. It's a bit played up for her benefit.] I'm here to serve. Just trust all your plastics into my willing and nimble hands.
